Charlotte's only pre-World War Two Streetcar, Number 85, awaits its return to the streets of Charlotte. It is a designated historic landmark and has been declared eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places. The picture below shows Streetcar 85 returning to the track on April 20, 2008.
