3. I received
news on Friday that Winter Properties will not be using funds allocated
by the Commission for the renovation of Highland Park Manufacturing

money available for the HLC's revolving fund.
4. A special
thanks to Stewart Gray, Valerie Lewis, and Yolanda Johnson-Gess for
their attending a historic preservation workshop in Lincolnton.
Their attendance fulfills the Commission's annual Certified Local
Government requirement that two Commissioners and one staff person
attend an educational workshop.
5. Staff
continues to work with the County Budget Department in preparing a
summary of the Commission's expenditures for consideration by the Board
of County Commissioners.
6. Peter Pappas

strategies for the Charlotte Cotton Mills.
