Action Items.

1.  Two UNCC Graduate students have been serving as interns with the Commission this semester.  Brandon Lunsford has produced a Survey and Research Report on the Ranson House in Huntersville and is doing in-depth historical research on White Oak Plantation.  Bill Jeffers has been conducting a reconnaissance survey of the built environment of Matthews and its environs for a comprehensive study to be undertaken by a graduate public history class in the Fall.  I hereby request that staff be authorized to pay $1500 each to Mr. Lunsford and Mr. Jeffers upon successful conclusion of their work in May.

Respectfully submitted,
