The first step in the restoration of
the exterior of the W. T. Alexander House is to remove the the
lead paint. It is exciting to see the original woodwork.
On July 3rd a mini-tornado struck the
W. T. Alexander property, uprooting several trees. Happily, none of
the buildings was damaged.
A huge walnut tree fell in the side
yard. Workers will be cleaning up the debris in the next few
days. For information on buying the property, call Bryan Turner at
704-336-8816.
Work continues on the west facade of
the Charlotte Cotton Mills. The opening of windows and the creation of
new ones will greatly enhance the marketability of the property. For
information on purchase, call Bryan Turner at 704-336-8816.
