B.
Consideration of prospective purchase of the Thrift P&N Station.

The Projects
Committee discussed the prospect of submitting an offer to purchase
the Thrift P&N Station but did not have the appraisal in hand at the
time of the meeting. The appraisal did arrive soon after the
meeting, and Staff discussed with Gray Newman the prospect of bringing
the matter before the Commission for consideration at its October
8th meeting. Mr. Newman agreed that such action would
be appropriate because the Committee viewed favorably the submitting
of an offer on the property. The Commission will have to move
into executive session to discuss this matter.
